Overview
Twin screw pump is one of the important types of fluid transfer equipment used in various process industries, it is also referred to as double screw pump, two spindle pump or double screw transfer pump.
This pump is a positive displacement pump that transfers fluid amounts through cavities of several shape. The pump materials of construction will be based upon the application.
Conventional technologies in multiphase technology that require separation of oil and gas products, for this type of process, a compressor, a liquid pump, and a separator need to be installed. In contrast, there are many advantages for using twin-screw pumps for oil field applications; three of the immediate improvements include reducing hardware costs, reducing well bore pressure, and producing a pressure boost to move the product to a central collection facility.
The core of the multiphase twin screw pump is formed by the twin screw pumps. The two engineered rotor sets work with no metal-to-metal contact. They deliver a close to constant capacity against the downstream backpressure. While operating in the high GVF (high gas volume fraction [GVF]) range, pumps experience a severe loss of efficiency and an increase of operating temperature. System will add a liquid recirculation system where a portion of liquid is stored downstream of the pump and is injected into the pump inlet. Meanwhile mechanical seal system is also protected by the API flushing system which can let the mechanical seal work in appropriate condition. Similarly, the bearing and gearbox lubrication device also has corresponding protection measures.
Optimize design structure:
Beneficial Features:
• Reliable performance –Wear-resisting screw’s material allow the pump to run through incidental contact
• Fitted with a liquid recirculation system - Operate under high GVF conditions
• Long Working period - Auxiliary protection system can let pump work in controlled conditions
• Stable output – System can adjust operation parameters according to real-time input conditions
• More economical- Instead of the traditional method of oil-gas separation and transportation
Meet your Transportation demands include:
• various sizes for flow rates up to 200m³/h
• differential pressures up to 25 bar
• gas volume fraction up to 97%
• suction pressure up to 4 bar
Strict quality standards and test procedures assure that you receive the best performing single screw pumps. Even after the initial sale we continue to provide support to ensure optimum performance in various service conditions.
