A single screw pump is one of the important types of fluid transfer equipment used in various process industries. It is also referred to as eccentric screw pump, progressive cavity pump.
This pump is a positive displacement pump that transfers fluid amounts through cavities of several shape. The pump materials of construction will be based upon the application.
Broken Bridge Single Screw pump is used for non-flowable medium with “building bridge” effect. It’s suction chamber is an enlarged rectangular hopper. The bridge breaking device can break up the material before it enters the suction port, so as to avoid the material piling up at the hopper. Generally speaking, the bridge breaking device is directly driven by a pair of deceleration motors,the breaking rate should be adjusted according to different material characteristics.
